What a treat it was to learn from such poets as Aimee Nezhukumatathil and Samaa Abdurraqib at the Fourth Annual Camden Festival of Poetry. Especially fun was enjoying it with fellow writers, artists and former students from Maine and New Hampshire. Read on for a sample of Nezhukumatathil and Abdurraqib‘s work. And plan a trip to Camden, Maine May 2027 when Naomi Shihab Nye will be the featured speaker and teacher.
