Is this class for me?
If you have started your memoir or been writing your stories and need help to keep going, this class is for you. If you have a writing practice, but need support and accountability to get closer to your goal of writing your memoir, this class is for you. If you are not already an experienced writer, then Memoir 101: Writing the Stories of Your Life would be a better choice.
What’s it about?
Memoir 2301: Craft and Application offers instruction in exploration of your deeper self through recording and revising your stories. Lessons will include information on how to start, how to keep going if you get stuck and how to use the resources of the classroom community to help you reach your goal. Some classes will include lecture, writing exercises and discussion. Others will consist of workshops where you will both give and receive constructive feedback for improving your work.
When does it meet?
There are two classes starting soon You can choose to join the Thursday or Saturday class.
Thursdays 10:00 to 11:30 AM EDT, November 19 – December 24, 2020
Saturdays 10:00 – 11:30 AM EDT, October 31 – November 28, 2020
How much does it cost?
The tuition for this five-week live online series is $150. Partial scholarships are available. You can pay via Venmo or PayPal.
